Joseba - El Soplajuego

I had the pleasure of making a brand-new model for our beloved Joseba. This time, however, older and with a store to manage. Joseba is the shopkeeper in 'El Soplajuego', a vertical slice for a weird sandbox game made with my colleagues from El Soplaequipo.
This was quite a challenge! I tried to be as faithful as possible to the concept art while keeping the polycount very, very low. I also had to keep the shapes fairly simple in order to UV unwrap properly to have the unique texturing style that we were aiming for, inspired by the game Friends vs Friends.
We are very happy with the final model. However, because of the low poly style, the animations were NOT easy to make, and the model doesn't deform as perfectly as we wanted. We'll keep that in mind next time!
